Florent Pagny

Florent Pagny is a singer and a French actor born on November 6th, 1961 in Chalon-sur-Saône (Saône-et-Loire).

Singer of rock and pop, we can quote among his biggest successes Anything, If you want to try me, Caruso, To know how to love, And one day a woman, My freedom to think, and Where I shall take you. All in all, he sold more than 15 millions of disks.

It is also a television personality: he has been a member of the jury of The Voice, the most beautiful voice in France, since the beginning of the broadcast in 2012.

Florent Pagny begins his career of artist as actor in the cinema as well as in the television. Night barman in the box Broad of the Les Halles quarter, he is spotted by Dominique Besnehard. Failed during the audition for a small role in the movie Diva, he meets in 1980 Marceline Lenoir who becomes his agent. She finds him(h, from 1981, small roles, in particular in The Honor of a captain, fort Saganne or Inspector la Bavure.

In 1987, he writes and composes his first song, Anything, which is an accusation of the drug. This title, produced by Gérard Louvin, will know a big succès (8 weeks on the first place of the Top 50). Follows a second success (Let Us inhale) in 1988 and a resumption.

In 90's, he cooperates for his albums with great personalities like JJ Goldman, Pascal Obispo et Calogero.

In 1997, his album "To know how to love" made him win a music's victory.

In 2004, he launchs an album stemming from the lyric directory: Baryton, very appreciated by the public.

In 2010, he takes out the original album Everything and its opposite which marks his reunions with Pascal Obispo with whom it sings in duet. In 2011, Florent Pagny started an acoustic tour to celebrate his 50 years.

Since 2012, he is coach for the television in the tv show The Voice.
