Pink Floyd were an English rock band. 

The band started as a blues band in 1965 he were from London. 

The band were composed of Syd Barett (†), Roger Waters, David Gilmour et Richard Wright (†).

The band were named after the blues artists Pink Anderson and Floyd Council by Syd Barrett, one of the band's founding members.

They performed for more than 30 years, and have sold more than 200 million albums. 

The most famous album of Pink Floyd is The Dark Side of the Moon (1973) and The Wall (1979).
